2010 marks the 80th birthday of legendary composer/lyricist Stephen Sondheim. From A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum to Gypsy – from West Side Story to A Little Night Music, Sondheim has been one of the driving forces in contemporary musical theatre. Side by Side by Sondheim looks at three of his favorite themes: love, relationships and marriage. In this musical revue, we witness the comedy, struggles and genius of this American musical treasure.
