Love to sing? Hate to audition! Looking for an opportunity to see if your vocal cords still work? Cherry Hill Singers is the perfect group for you. This non-auditioned choir is the perfect beginner or refresher course for those who have been away from a choir or want to experience the joy of singing with a group. Cherry Hill Singers welcomes anyone 16 years of age and older.

The group will present two concerts each year, one at Christmas the other in early spring. They will sing everything from classical and sacred to pop and gospel. We have designed Cherry Hill Singers to be a fun and nurturing environment. Michael Gross, the Artistic Director of the BeckRidge Chorale, and accompanist Brian Long will lead Cherry Hill Singers.

The group meets Monday evenings from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM at the Village Theatre in Canton. The fee is $50 per semester or $100 per year.

A Cherry Hill Christmas

Canton Township was organized in 1834. Interestingly enough, this happens to be same year Charles Dickens wrote the classic "A Christmas Carol." Dickens was the first writer to take Christmas from a twelve day celebration involving the entire community to a one day celebration that any family could hold in their own home. It was also in 1834 that Queen Victoria took Prince Albert to Windsor Castle where they reintroduced the Christmas Tree and carols to the British Empire.

The debut performance of the Cherry Hill Singers will mark the 175th Anniversary of the Township with Christmas standards sure to reflect the spirit of Christmases past with a renewed vision for the future. From "Angels We Have Heard On High" to "Silent Night," A Cherry Hill Christmas is a premiere performance you do not want to miss.

Winners And Losers!

Cherry Hill Singers take center stage with some winners and losers! If you look back at some of the songs nominated for the Grammy, Oscar and Tony, some of winners shouldn't have won and some of the losers shouldn't have lost. It is our Winners and Losers Concert and you don't want to miss it.
