Michael Gross has served as Artistic Director and Conductor of the Plymouth Community Chorus, now the BeckRidge Chorale, since 1978. He studied voice, piano and conducting at Eastern Michigan University and attended Pennsylvania State University to work with choral music legend Fred Waring. He continued his education by attending summer programs at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York and the University of Akron. It was at the Eastman School of Music where he studied with Donald Neuen. Michael is a member of the American Choral Directors Association and Chorus America. Mike, his wife Cindy, and their daughter make their home in Canton, Michigan.

Nancy Whitecar - Principal Accompanist/Assistant Director

Nancy Whitecar has served as principal accompanist for the Plymouth Community Chorus and now the BeckRidge Chorale since 1995. She teaches piano privately and is an instructor at Schoolcraft Community College. Nancy supports young musicians in the community by accompanying middle school and high school soloists and ensembles. Nancy, her husband John, and their two children live in Northville, Michigan, where she and her husband are active musicians in the community.
